  • Stay up to date on announcements & updates

  • Discover and RSVP to upcoming events

  • Connect and chat with other members

  • Access community resources and information

  • Receive quick updates from the Loading Dock team

  • Earn points for engaging and trade them in for exclusive Loading Dock swag.

Earn Points & Trade Them In For Swag

You don’t need to be an expert or post constantly to earn points.

Simple actions—join conversations, RSVP and attend events, like, comment, or share helpful insights— these all count. Points are just a way to recognize and reward engagement—not a competition (though some members do take them very seriously).

As you earn points, you’ll hit various point levels and unlock the ability to trade in points for Loading Dock swag like hats, t-shirts, totes, etc.

How Do I join?

When you become an official Loading Dock member, you’ll get your private invite link via email as part of your onboarding process. All you have to do is click the link, create your password, create your profile, and then you’ll have instant access to the community in your web browser. You can then access the community anytime via The Loading Dock App (this is where you’ll book your meeting room hours and phone booth reservations).

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We have three campuses brimming with members from all backgrounds, professions, experiences, and walks of life.  It’s easy to show up, work, and go home.  We witness the power that comes when our members network, problem solve, and share resources with each other.  We see it everyday in the kitchens, by the copiers, and on the porches.  We’ve been searching for years for a way to bring that power of networking online too.

  • Slack is being phased out for members. Member Slack access ends on January 16, 2026.

Going forward, all community conversations, updates, and event information will live on The Dock Exchange. Members should plan to use Dock Exchange as their primary community space.

  • Member-led groups are member-driven groups centered around shared interests, industries, or goals. They are a core part of The Dock Exchange and a great way to build deeper connections.

    • Join as many groups as you’d like

    • Participate casually or more actively

New groups may be added over time as the community grows.

  • Once your profile is set up, you can browse available groups directly in The Dock Exchange and join any that interest you.

You’ll then start seeing group discussions, events, and updates in your feed.iption
