Tell us about your company!

Hummingbird is an economic equity movement forged in the spirit of sisterhood disguised as a candle-making studio. We aim to create celebration-worthy products and experiences. Hummingbird Candle Co. is a space where you can celebrate your moments BIG and small. Really, we want to give you permission to prioritize your pleasure, something we want to remind you to do on a daily basis. We are your ultimate hype girls! We offer eco-lux coconut wax candles and fragrance products and our Famous Hummingbird Candle Making Experiences!

In what ways have you or your company grown since being at The Loading Dock?

We took a leap at the beginning of last year to expand our business into the cowarehouse space at the Loading Dock. Being able to bulk order supplies and easily store them, produce, and ship more candles efficiently definitely was worth the investment and paid off in our revenue last year.

What resources or events have helped you grow?

I haven’t been able to take advantage of any of the events just yet because we are in our scaling season, but I can’t wait to! 

 

Have you developed any meaningful connections or collaborations in the space, professionally or personally?

I’ve gained so many new real-life friends at The Loading Dock! Elizabeth, Tim, and Kim have become my work family!
